Luis Schmidt is a Hamburg-born DJ and music producer. His musical journey began at the age of nine when he started playing the drums. Thanks to his father’s musical influence, he was exposed to electronic music and artists like Kraftwerk and Sven Väth at an early age. In 2019, Luis began teaching himself how to DJ. After his first performances in 2020, it quickly became clear that DJing and electronic music were his true passions. Together with a friend, he then founded the artist project TWO OF YOU, through which he also developed his first original productions. The duo’s early releases were influenced by Afro House and combined driving beats with catchy, commercial vocals. With “Do It Again,” TWO OF YOU surpassed one million streams on a single track for the first time, marking an important milestone. Through numerous live performances, their sound has continuously evolved—from Afro House to melodic house and on to a modern, groove-oriented house sound with influences from UK house. Today, Luis and TWO OF YOU are known for driving grooves, distinctive vocal elements, and high-energy productions that blend club energy with a modern and unique sound. With his combination of DJing, live performance experience, and production, Luis Schmidt is constantly working to further develop his sound and establish a distinctive musical style.
